With a smart ceiling light you have more possibilities than with a normal ceiling light. With a standard ceiling lamp you choose a certain colour temperature for the light output. This can only be adjusted by replacing the LED bulb in the fixture. This will cost you replacement costs. With the smart round ceiling light you no longer have this problem. You can choose a light colour or colour temperature at any time of the day. Sometimes it's red, then blue, or maybe green. Then you want cooler light and the other time warm light.

You can also set the smart round ceiling lamp to a time schedule. This allows you to set the times when the lights switch on and off automatically. If you know that it gets dark at 5 o'clock in the winter, you can set the smart ceiling lights to switch them on. It's as simple as that.

WiFi connection with the round ceiling light

All Hoftronic Smart products can be operated with the Hoftronic Smart app, which can be downloaded for free from the Apple Store or Google Play. When you use your smart round ceiling lamp for the first time, you should link it to the app. This is about your WiFi network. We advise you to use the product within 2 metres of your router. Once you have connected the round ceiling lamp, you can mount it at the desired location. Make sure that the round ceiling lamp has a good WiFi connection at this location. Only then can the round smart ceiling lamp function optimally.
